Marble

Marble is beautiful and will add elegance to any area in which it is used. Marble may stain or etch in kitchens due to food and other acidic substances. However, many homeowners don’t mind stains that add a patina of age. Marble is a classic surface for rolling out pastry; serious bakers often include a section of marble countertop in their kitchens for this purpose. Marble is generally polished like granite.

CLEAN & PROTECT

We recommend applying a sealant to safeguard your marble against stains and etching. Promptly attend to any water or spillage on marble surfaces and avoid leaving chemical, citric, or acidic items on them. When cleaning marble, use water along with a slightly damp cloth, and then dry the surface with a soft towel. Steer clear of using bleach, acidic cleaners, or abrasive household cleaning products on marble, as they may lead to etching and dullness.
